Audition Day: What To Expect

Your audition should last one hour. This is the only audition opportunity for the show. You must attend and complete the entire audition process to be considered. Please meet and check in at the Stallion Stairs 20 minutes prior to your scheduled audition time. You will receive a number that must be on you during your entire audition. Please remember, you will be dancing during your audition, dress in clothes and shoes you can move in.

 Please make sure you have read and understand the previous posts: Parent Information & Audition Information. If you have a son or daughter that would like to be part of the Stage Crew you can apply here: Stage Crew

 Music will be provided - it would be great to have the song and lines memorized. If you need to find the songs for your audition they can be found here: Songs and Lines


Parents this is a closed audition - meaning you are not able to stay and watch your child during the audition process. 


This year due to limited rehearsal days your child will not be allowed to miss any practices - no exceptions. Please DO NOT sign up to audition if you need miss any practices. 

All cast members and a parent or guardian must attend a meeting on Monday, February 26, 2018  at 3:30 p.m. Please pay your $35 participation fee online on your myDSD account. If you would like to apply for a fee waiver, please see Annette or Tiffany in the office. One parent or guardian is required to serve on a committee. Committee assignments will be made after the auditions.
