Parent Information: Please Read Carefully

Listed below are important requirements, you as the parent or guardian will be responsible for, if your child is selected to participate in the school play. Please be sure you have read the entire Welcome 2018 Musical, Audition Information & Song and Lines for Audition

1. Each participant is required to pay a $35 production fee after casting (payable to Sand Springs Elementary PTA or online from your DSD account). You will receive two comp tickets.

2. You will be responsible to provide pieces of your child's costume i.e. tights, leotard, shoes, make-up, hair, etc. A list will be provided once casting is complete.

3. Costumes need to be complete and approved by our costume matron, Katie Bowden on March 30, 2018.

4. Attend a mandatory Parent/Cast Meeting on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 3:30 pm in the school gym. If you are unable to attend this meeting, please let us know immediately at sandspringsmusical@gmail.com.

5. Due to limited number of rehearsal days cast members are NOT allowed to miss ANY practices. There are NO exceptions. If you know you will be missing any rehearsal days - we ask that you do not audition and please do not accept any lead parts. Rehearsals are every Friday March 2-May 4 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. The only exception will be Spring Break - no rehearsals that week.

6. You will be required to help with the production by serving on a committee. Please select your top three choices from the following list below. You will enter your choices on the audition registration form which will be posted on February 5 at 8:00 p.m. on this website. You will be contacted when assignments are completed. You are not guaranteed the committee you chose - we are trying to accommodate everyone, but sometimes changes must be made. Please try to be flexible and patient with us.

Thank you!
